Hamden Police Blotter: March 25 Through April 6, 2025

Recent arrests by the Hamden Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

HAMDEN, CT — The following information has been provided by the Hamden Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Jermaine S. Foskey, 34, of Hamden, was arrested March 25 on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 29, according to state judicial records.

Willard H. Mahon, 31, of Bridgeport, was arrested March 26 on charges of second-degree breach of peace, interfering with officer / resisting, and risk of injury to child. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 29.

Sharlice R. Cloud, 36, of Meriden, was arrested March 27 on charges of home invasion, criminal possession of firearm / ammunition / defense weapon, criminal use of weapon, violation of protective order, risk of injury to child, assault on a public safety / EMT officer, interfering with officer / resisting, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and failure to fingerprints. She was being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond with a court date of May 9.

Dave Brandy, 31, of New Haven, was arrested March 27 on three counts of violation of probation. He was being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond with a court date of May 27.

Chris L. Sherman, 52, of Hamden, was arrested March 29 on charges of second-degree assault – firearm, second-degree breach of peace, illegal discharge of firearm, stealing firearm, criminal possession of firearm / ammunition / defense weapon, and carrying pistol without permit. He was released after posting a $20,000 bond with a court date of April 30.

Irais Garcia-Canales, 31, of Hamden, was arrested March 31 on charges of violation of protective order and disorderly conduct. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of May 7.

Johnny Grant, 26, of New Haven, was arrested April 4 on charges of criminal attempt at first-degree assault, illegal discharge of firearm, and carrying pistol without a permit. He was released after posting a $150,000 bond with a court date of April 30.

Williams T. Jowers, 38, of New Haven, was arrested April 6 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 28.
