HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden girls basketball team is off to a fast start, winning three of its first four games in the 2025-26 season.

After opening the season with a 58-42 loss to Trumbull in a non-league game, the Green Dragons reeled off three straight wins.

Hamden defeated Fitch 65-44 on Dec. 17, then followed it up with a 63-57 win over West Haven on Dec. 20, and a 51-33 victory over Career-New Haven on Dec. 22. All three wins came on the road.

The Green Dragons will take on Amity in a league contest on Saturday, Jan. 3 in Woodbridge.
