Hamden Resident Earns GNAC All-Conference, Tournament Honors
The Hamden High School graduate was recently named to the GNAC All-Conference and All-Tournament teams.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden’s Diamond White, a senior on the Albertus Magnus College women’s basketball team, has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.
White, a Hamden High School graduate, makes her second appearance on the All-GNAC team.
In the team's season opener against New Jersey City University on Nov. 13, White scored 22 points, including her 1,000th-career point.

During an 85-70 win over Baruch on Nov. 26, White scored a career-high 30 points on 6-for-9 shooting from 3-point range while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out five assists. Against Norwich, White scored 26 points with four rebounds and five assists in a 77-69 win on Feb. 1.
White was also named to the GNAC All-Tournament team after averaging 18 points in the two games.

Against No. 6 seed Anna Maria in the GNAC quarterfinals, White scored 15 points with four rebounds, five assists and two steals in the 82-62 win on Feb. 25.
In a 67-60 GNAC semifinals loss to No. 2 seed Saint Joseph's College (Maine) on Feb. 27, White scored 21 points, including three 3-pointers with two assists and two steals.
White finished her career as the school’s ninth all-time leading scorer with 1,447 points.
