HAMDEN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

He’s a dialysis Nurse on the frontline

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
After retiring from being a flight Nurse in the Air Force, he continued his career in nursing without ever skipping a beat.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Nursing is his passion. He puts his whole heart into his patients and always makes sure they have a smile on their face even in the worst of conditions. He’s there to comfort them by holding their hand and letting them know they are not alone.
