ID Released In Double-Fatal Crash In Hamden: Police
A mother and her 7-year-old child were killed in the crash, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — The woman killed in a double-fatal crash Saturday in Hamden has been identified as 40-year-old Brandi Lowery of New Haven, police said in an update Thursday.
Police previously confirmed that the woman’s 7-year-old child also died in the crash. The child’s identity wasn’t released by police on Thursday.
Police responded around 10:15 p.m. on Sept. 27 to a two-vehicle crash on Davis Street near Roger’s Road.

Responding officers found that two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, and five people were taken to the hospital.
Lowery and her 7-year-old child were later declared dead at the hospital, according to police.
