
Hamden Adult Education is offering a free program to provide residents who do not have a high school diploma with the skills that are necessary to be productive in the 21st century workplace.Â
If you are unemployed or underemployed, looking to change careers but don’t know where to start, or your lack of computer skills is making it difficult for you to find work, this class is for you.
Develop effective interviewing techniques and learn the soft skills that employer’s value. Prepare a professional resume and explore careers that match your interests and skills. Instruction is offered in computer technology, with the possibility to earn an Office Proficiency Assessment Certification (OPAC).

This class meets at the Keefe Community Center, 11 Pine Street, Hamden, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 10.
