LETTER: Hamden Politicians Narcissistic?

To the Editor,

What’s political narcissism?

Political Ideology is a set of doctrines or beliefs that form the basis of a political system or political party. Which political ideology dominates Hamden’s political system? That question is very difficult to answer, when you have Republicans and Democrats who call themselves Republicans and Democrats, but who believe in some other political doctrine or belief, which they never speak to the public about.

With that said it’s pretty easy to understand why the solvency of Hamden is being questioned at this time. Because Hamden’s political leaders for decades have not understood what political doctrine they should follow, which would improve the quality of life for Hamden residents. Hamden residents now have political leaders and candidates who follow their own form of political doctrine called Me, Myself and I, which is the highest form of political narcissism.
