Obituary: Ann Marie Bava Rosello, 88, of Hamden

Ann, a longtime Hamden resident, enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, the beach, cats and her friends and family.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Ann Marie Bava Rosello, 88, of Hamden died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Rosello. Ann was born in New Haven on April 7, 1933, a daughter of the late John and Rose Cavallaro Bava and had resided in Hamden for 86 years.

She was a claims adjuster for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Haven for 10 years, and previously worked as a paraprofessional at Hamden High School for three years.

Ann loved dancing to her husband’s band, bowling, playing cards, the beach, the sun and cats. She loved get-togethers and hosted many occasions at the family home.

Ann is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Leslie) Rosello of North Haven and Steven Rosello of Hamden, two sisters, Pauline Canelli of Cheshire and Rosalie (Gennaro) Germe of East Haven, and two loving granddaughters, Taylor Ann Rosello and Katelin Rosello.

She was predeceased by her sister, Clotilda Landino. Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. A committal service will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven at a date and time to be announced.
