Obituary: Candace Castiglioni, 73, of Hamden
Candace, a loving and devoted wife and mother, worked as a financial services analyst for Elizabeth Arden, as well as Unilever Corp.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Candace Castiglioni, 73, of Hamden died July 10th at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the loving wife of 47 years to Richard Castiglioni. They originally lived in Clinton for 40 years, and spent the last 7 in Hamden.
Born in Gloversville, N.Y., daughter of the late Peter & Carmel Fresolone Spencer, Candace worked as a financial services analyst for Elizabeth Arden, and later Unilever Corp.
She enjoyed knitting and made many lovely quilts for friends and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son David Castiglioni of Wallingford.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service FRIDAY, July 16th, at 10:30 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden.
Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:30.
Burial will follow in St. Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org ).
