Obituary: Dominic Nacca, 90, of Hamden
Dominic worked as a diesel mechanic, was a proud U.S. Army veteran and was a longtime member and past president of the Teamsters Local 443.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Dominic Nacca, 90, a long time Hamden resident passed away peacefully April 21st. Born in West Haven, son of the late Luigi & Mary Ferrina Nacca, he was the loving husband of the late Rosemarie Battipaglia Nacca.
Dominic worked as a diesel mechanic, was an Army veteran, and was a longtime member of the Teamsters Local 443, serving as past president of their retirees.
He was also a past member of American Legion post 127. He is survived by a son Richard (Tao "Chrissy" Wang), sisters; Nancy Cirasuolo, Lucy Preston, and Virgina "Ginny" Corso, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter Lori Ann Giagrande, sisters; Roseann Nacca, Grace Pagano, and Vera "Dorothy" Damato, Brothers; Anthony, Salvatore "Rabbit", Pasquale "Pat", Joseph "Pippi" & Vincent Nacca.
Friends are invited to attend a service Tuesday at 10 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden, and may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 - 10 A.M.
Burial will follow in St. Lawrence cemetery.
