Obituary: Elaine Landino, 77, of Hamden

Elaine, a longtime employee of both S.N.E.T and the state D.M.V., cherished her time with relatives and friends.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Elaine Landino, 77, of Hamden passed away peacefully at Yale N.H.H, March 11, 2022. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Merle & Helen Ventresca Landino, she was a longtime employee of S.N.E.T and CT D.M.V.

She enjoyed bowling, driving, and visiting national parks. In her spare time, she had a good hand at creating counted cross stich tablecloths and was pleased to give them away to relatives and friends.

She was national winner of the Pat Boone Fan Club, which included a trip to the Boone family home in California.

Elaine's family is very grateful for all the relatives, friends and medical staff at Yale for the care and attention that she received during the past several months.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Arthur.

She is survived by her brother Lawrence "Larry" Landino, nephew Paul, & nieces Annie, Annilou, Patricia, Michele, several cousins, and her companion for many years Laurel Swirsky.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, TUESDAY at 10:30 A.M. at Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
