Obituary: Isschar M. Howard, 16, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT - (From Colonial Funeral Home) Isschar M. Howard also known as IS (Isschar/Sheila), Izzy, T-kai, Kai of Hamden Connecticut passed away on May 21, 2022 due to drowning in Lyme, Connecticut.

Isschar was born on October 5, 2005 to the union of Peter Howard (deceased) and Sheila Jackson in New Haven, Connecticut.

Isschar had a larger than life personality and a passion for the arts including music, writing, acting, and drawing.

Isschar attended Hamden High and Hamden Collaborative Learning Center (HCLC), where he exceled and expressed his love for nature and animals.

Isschar will be forever missed by all who knew him.

Isschar is preceded in death by mother Sheila Jackson, father Peter Howard (deceased), brothers Loneil Howard, Nasir Howard, and Martin Louis Ward, sister Bobbi Howard, uncle Ali Braxton, aunt Meagan Pinkard, Mariesa Jackson, grandmother (mom) Lillian Braxton (maternal), grandfather Martin Louis Jackson (maternal), godmother Willette Priester (Duchess), grandfather Louis Hall Sr. (paternal), grandmother Etta Howard (paternal), great-grandmother Pastor Ethel Gilbert, great-grand uncle Charles Green and a host of paternal uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Viewing in Church from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, Connecticut, 06511.
