Obituary: Ivy Russell Kinscherf, 87, formerly of Hamden
Ivy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Ivy Russell Kinscherf died November 7, 2021. Beloved wife of 68 years of Robert (Bob) Millard Kinscherf, mother of Robert Kinscherf (Jennifer Kinscherf), Keith Kinscherf (Sheila Kinscherf), predeceased by beloved daughter Wendy Kinscherf (Michael Magnason).
Grandmother to Meredith Powers (Jennifer Powers), Carly Kinscherf, Richard Kinscherf, predeceased by grandson Jordan Kinscherf.
Great -grandmother to Ella Jordan Powers.
Born in Boston, MA. raised in Milton and Marblehead, MA, moved to Manhassett, NY, where she met and fell in love with Bob Kinscherf.
Bob and Ivy began their married life on Long Island, continued it on Singer Island, Florida, and raised their family in Hamden, CT.
During her lifetime Ivy lived in many places, most recently moving from Brewster, MA (Cape Cod) to Madison, CT where she and Bob were newly settled and excited to experience new adventures together.
