Obituary: John M. Luedee Sr., 81, of Hamden

John, a loving and devoted family man, worked many years as a Boiler Engineer with UAW Local 1010.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) John M. Luedee Sr., 81, of Hamden passed away Monday, Oct. 25,2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Husband of the late Dolores Fontaine Luedee (1964-1991) and Marianne Smith Luedee (2004-2007).

Loving father of Valerie L. (Ruedi) Wunderlin of Liechtenstein, John M. Luedee Jr. of Hamden, Cheryl L.(Ted) Berube of Hamden, David M. (Jennifer) Luedee of Hamden and Michelle L. (David) Morley of Hamden, beloved grandfather of Matilda and Victor Wunderlin, Demi,Dean and AJ Luedee, Tyler and Brendan Berube, Daniel, Julia, Victoria and Angelina Luedee, and Aeden, Ryan and Keon Morley.

Also survived by a sister Dorothy Clough of FL, a brother Earl Luedee of GA, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. John was born June 20,1940 in Newfoundland, Canada a son of the late Philip Albert and Margaret MacNeil Luedee.

He was employed for many years as a Boiler Engineer with UAW Local 1010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 in Our Lady of MT. Carmel Church, Hamden.

Burial will be private. Calling hours at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden will be Friday from 4:00-7:00pm.
