Obituary: Michael Christopher Ramos, 39, of Hamden

Michael, lovingly remembered as good-hearted and a sharp dresser, cherished his family, friends and especially his beloved dog, Rex.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Michael Christopher Ramos, 39, of Hamden, died unexpectedly May 10, 2022 at home. Born April 10, 1983, son of Emanuel F. and Gloria A. Ramos, he was predeceased by his older brother, Emanuel (Manny) Ramos.

He was the grandson of Blanche/Harold Bristol and Maria/Arnaldo Ramos. Mike leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from Connecticut, New York, Virginia, Florida, Portugal and England. Mike was a 2001 Hamden High School graduate and attended SCSU and Quinnipiac. He enjoyed walks, rides and pampering his dog, Rex.

He took excellent care of Rexy. His family always had a pet and he had a dog during his childhood, named Pepper, that was adopted from Animal Haven.

He loved her with his heart and soul. Mike was good hearted, helpful and thought about others more than himself. He was a Property Manager for several years and attended numerous classes related to his job.

He took a keen interest in home projects, cleaning and making things look nice. Whatever project he took on he gave it 100%. He was a sharp dresser and took pride in his appearance. When he was younger, he had a passion for body building and won the Title of Mr. Connecticut at age 16.

In the past, he enjoyed travel, which included trips to Newport, RI, Cape Cod, Florida, New Jersey, England and Portugal, Mexico and more. He enjoyed seafood and nice cars. He loved his family and friends and his dog, Rex, with all his heart.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a funeral service, THURSDAY May 19th at 12 P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 - 7 P.M. and Thursday morning from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M.
