Obituary: Michael Guidone, 78, of Hamden
Michael, a devoted family man and U.S. Army veteran, served as a security officer many years for the Yale Center for British Art.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Michael Guidone, 78, of Hamden, passed away Friday, Jan. 28,2022 at his home with his loving family at his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary Landino Guidone, two sons John F. (Tina Fiasconaro) Guidone and Michael L (Kerry). Guidone, and eight cherished grandchildren.
He is also survived by his two sisters Maryann (Louis F.) Landino and Anita (Robert) Suraci, his brother Richard (Carla) Guidone, longtime friends Trish and Tony Mauriello and many nieces, nephews and their children.
Michael was born Oct. 16, 1943, in New Haven a son of the late Michael and Madeline Germe Guidone, He was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School (1961), the University of New Haven (1966) and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966-69.
Michael was an employee of Sears in Hamden for over 20 years before being employed as a security officer with Yale University at the Yale Center for British Art.
Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden on Wed. at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial.
The mass will be live-streamed on https://olomc.org/. Burial with military honors will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden will be Tues., from 4:00-7:00 pm. Masks required at church and calling hours.
