Obituary: Michael Landino, 92, of Hamden

Michael was a proud WWII U.S. Army veteran and worked many years as a claims adjuster for various insurance companies.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Michael Landino, 92, of Hamden died peacefully March 21st at Elim Park.

He was the loving husband of Mary Jane Marciano Landino. Born in New Haven, son of the late John & Mary Votto Landino, he was a WWII Army veteran and worked as a claims adjuster for various insurance companies.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #3605, an avid woodcarver, and enjoyed repairing clocks in his spare time.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters; Michelle (Dusty) Keating, and Mary Beth (Jeffrey) Cannata both of Hamden, and grandchildren; Ian Cannata, Kevin (Tara) Keating, & Amy (Scott) Berney.

He was predeceased by a daughter Marcia, siblings James, Albert, Joseph, Louis, Franklin, Angelina, Lucy, Rosemarie, and Josephine.

Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, FRIDAY at 11 A.M. for a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. Agnes cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ukranian relief fund via the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org).
