Obituary: Rudolph T. Brandi, 90, of Hamden

Rudy was a proud Air Force veteran and was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft for 42 years, retiring as Systems Integration Engineering Manager.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home) Rudolph T. Brandi, 90, of Hamden, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, and entered into eternal rest just 11 weeks after the passing of his wife of 68 years, the late Diane (Aimo) Brandi.

He was the son of the late Benjamin and Christina (D’Angelo) Brandi, born on March 7, 1931, predeceased by sisters Anna Struwas and Rita Pease.

Rudy was an Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War from 1951-1955.

He was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft for 42 years and retired as Systems Integration Engineering Manager. He leaves behind three children, Terri Cracchiolo (Tony), Tom Brandi, and Linda Kelly (Richard).

Also, several grandchildren; Kyle Brandi, Daniel Brandi, Scott Brandi (Elizabeth), James Christiansen, Arielle St. Arnault (Sean), Richie Kelly, Anthony Cracchiolo, David Cracchiolo (Lauren), Edward Cracchiolo (Nicole), and Andrew Cracchiolo, great-grandchildren; Ella St. Arnault, Joey Cracchiolo, and Gianna Cracchiolo, daughter-in-law Penthy Brandi, and nephews David (Colleen) Struwas and Steven (Melinda) Struwas.
