HAMDEN, CT - (Sherrie A. Grooms-Pompano, 52, of Hamden beloved wife of Thomas J. Pompano passed away on February 20, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital.
Beloved mother of Steven Ewing and Glen Pompano both of Hamden.
Sherrie was born in Mineral Wells, TX on December 30, 1969 daughter of Margaret “Peggy” Douglas Grooms of Bradenton, FL and the late Steven Douglas.
Daughter-in -law of John and Ann Marie Nicoletti Pompano of East Haven. Sister-in-law of Stephanie Pompano of East Haven and loving aunt of Dominic Hood of East Haven.
Family and friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven FRIDAY evening from 6pm to 8pm.
Inurnment will be held in Skyway Memorial Gardens located in Palmetto, FL.
