PaintCare, an organization responsible for the program to recycle unused and leftover paint in Connecticut, will kick off seven paint drop-off events Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hamden Middle School.
The events are not limited to only the residents of the town in which the event is located — residents from any town in Connecticut may use these events to dispose of any amount of paint.
Businesses may also use the events, but only for latex paint. Businesses may not bring oil based paint due to legal restrictions. For details about what is acceptable, please visit www.paintcare.org/ct or call 855-PAINT09.
