Quinnipiac University Hosts Central European Tech Day in Connecticut

Quinnipiac aims to attract Central European technology companies to Connecticut with the October 11 event.

HAMDEN, CT – Quinnipiac University will host Central European Tech Day in Connecticut from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, in the Rocky Top Student Center, 305 Sherman Ave.

“The purpose of the day is to attract Central European technology companies to Connecticut by helping them understand the opportunities that exist for them,” said Chris Ball, director of the Central European Institute at Quinnipiac and honorary consul of Hungary for the state of Connecticut. “We want them to understand how Connecticut supports inbound investment and will help growing businesses. And rather than just telling them that there are opportunities, the afternoon’s business matching session will bring in Connecticut business people interested in doing business with them. This day provides them a unique package of services they will not find anywhere else."
