Quinnipiac University Students Participate In Food Drive
The food drive is aimed at students leaving for the summer to donate their perishable food items before leaving the campus.

From QU: For the ninth year, Quinnipiac University asked students to “Be kind! Leave your food behind!” Vincent Contrucci, director of community service at Quinnipiac, asked students to donate any leftover non-perishable food they has before leaving for the summer. University staff and students put collection boxes in university residence halls on May 5-12.
Over four tons of food has been donated to AIDS Project New Haven, Columbus House Inc. of New Haven, New Reach of New Haven, the Hamden Food Bank and Master’s Manna Inc. in Wallingford.“Quinnipiac students understand the value of donating their unused food at the end of the year and take satisfaction in knowing that someone else is going to be able to use the items,” Contrucci said.
