Quinnipiac's Proposal Back Before Hamden Commission
The university presented a revised plan to Hamden's Planning and Zoning Commission for its field and stadium renovation project.

Hamden, CT - Quinnipiac University is back before Hamden's Planning and Zoning Commission.
According to The New Haven Register, the university submitted a revised proposal to the Hamden commission on Tuesday night.
Earlier this month, the Hamden Inland Wetlands Commission voted 5-4, denying the university a variance for its field and stadium renovation project, The New Haven Register reported.

The university had sought a variance for one of the conditions in its approved application.
The university’s plans for the two stadiums to be constructed around existing fields were already met with criticism at a Planning & Zoning meeting in May, according to the Register.

The school has planned to resurface the two fields and build two stadiums around those fields, but the layout was too close to the wetlands, according to the Wetlands Commission.
The Register reports that an attorney for the university presented a new plan for only one of the two fields. A new plan for the second field will be presented as well.
