Report: North Haven Man Stole $50K From Client
A North Haven man is facing charges for the $50,000 theft.
HAMDEN--A former lawyer and North Haven resident was arrested last week and is facing charges for stealing $50K from a client, according to a report in The New Haven Register.
Giacinto G. Costa, 76, of North Haven is facing charges of stealing a $50,000 settlement from a car crash victim, The Register reports.
Police arrested Costa on Thursday. The former attorney represented the woman after a 2008 car accident, The Register reports. He allegedly signed the $50K check intended for his client and deposited it into his bank account.
