Sacred Heart Academy, Notre Dame High School Celebrate Long-Time Affiliation
The celebration took place with a mass on Sept. 25.

The Mass of Thanksgiving, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden) and Notre Dame High School (West Haven), was a beautiful afternoon honoring the strong affiliation and relationship between the two schools and seven decades of single gender education, steeped in the foundation of our Catholic faith and rooted in the respective charisms of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Brothers of the Holy Cross.
The Mass took place at St. Rita Church (Hamden) on Sept. 25. More than 400 students, parents, alumni and friends of the two schools attended.
