Senior Health & Wellness Resource Festival To Be Held In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce Health & Wellness Council will hold its Annual Senior Health & Wellness Resource Festival on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thornton Wilder Auditorium, Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, in Hamden.

“This free community event is open to the public and offers an important opportunity for seniors, caregivers, and residents to connect with local businesses and organizations dedicated to senior health and well-being,” according to a news release from the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Attendees can explore valuable services, meet trusted professionals, and learn about the many programs available right here in Hamden and the surrounding communities.”

Seasonal flu shots will be provided by the East Shore District Health Department, along with a variety of health screenings and wellness resources.

“We welcome all senior citizens, caregivers, and community members to join us for this informative event,” Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce President Nancy Dudchik said. “It’s a great opportunity to gather essential information and discover the many resources available to support healthy, independent living.”
