HAMDEN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Abbie is working on the front lines treating countless confirmed COVID-19 patients as well as numerous other medical emergencies.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Abbie’s strong commitment putting others safety and well being ahead of herself. Recently Abbie and her partner Amanda Kenny successfully talked a suicidal patient who was locked in a car as well as stuck on railroad tracks out of the car and to safety.
