This month the group will discuss the novel at its meeting March 25.

The Hamden Book Discussion Group would like to announce that “Swamplandia!” by Karen Russell is the selection for the March meeting.

According to Emma Donohue in her New York Times Sunday Magazine review,
“Vividly worded, exuberant in characterization, the novel is a wild ride: Russell has stylein spades.”

The discussion will take place March 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Friends Room at Miller Memorial Library on Dixwell Avenue. There is no fee, and the public is welcome to attend.
