Today's Police Blotter

-- Tara Bland, 34, of West Ivy St., New Haven, was charged with operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle while under suspension. She is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court Dec. 17.

-- Edmund Jackson, 54, of Pendleton Street, New Haven, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. He was already incarcerated on burglary and larceny charges from a September arrest in North Haven. He is due to appear in court on all charges Dec. 10.

-- Anthony Milea, 20, of Amherst Street, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of sale of a controlled substance. He posted $20,000 bond and is due to appear in court Dec. 10.

-- Gavin Velez, 40, of Richards Drive, was charged with one count of first-degree failure to appear in court and three counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. Velez was arrested in January on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a restraining order; twice in July, each on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, and in August on two counts of disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of $30,000 bond and was arraigned Tuesday in Meriden Superior Court.
