Unique Gas Station Opens In Hamden

The new gas station is "more than a refueling station" and features a "one-of-a-kind convenience store," officials said.

HAMDEN, CT — Officials celebrated the grand-opening of a unique gas station with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday in Hamden.

Connecticut-based Noble Gas, Inc. brings “high-end automobile refueling to Hamden,” officials wrote in a post on the town’s Facebook page.

“Noble partners with the communities it serves to provide the right mix of amenities and services that truly benefit the area,” the post reads.

The new Hamden location at 3311 Whitney Avenue is “more than a refueling station; it’s also home to a modern apartment complex and a one-of-a-kind convenience store,” according to the post.

“Owner Michael Frisbie shared his enthusiasm for creating a best-in-class refueling center paired with a high-end mixed-use residential space,” officials wrote in the post. “This project came to life through collaboration between Noble, Quinnipiac University, and the Town of Hamden, Connecticut.
