Vendors, Sponsors Needed for Hamden 'Let’s Move Family Wellness Fair'

The town of Hamden will host its first annual Let’s Move Family Wellness Fair on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Dunbar Hill Elementary School Gym.

In conjunction with the Let’s Move, Cities, Towns and Counties initiative, the event will offer a fun and healthy morning of activities, healthy treats and wellness opportunities. Organizations, businesses, school groups and individuals are needed to either be a sponsor or an exhibitor.

Hamden’s Partnership for Young Children, Hamden Public Schools, Hamden Youth Services Bureau, the Town of Hamden Office of the Mayor and Quinnipiack Valley Health District are teaming up to offer the Let’s Move Family Wellness Fair free of charge to the community. 

The focus is on healthy living and will include activities and information on nutrition, physical activity, safety, healthy practices and resources.
