Voters Invited To Hamden Democratic Mayoral Primary Candidate Forum
The League of Women Voters is inviting the public to a meet and greet event with the candidates of the upcoming mayoral primary election.
HAMDEN, CT — The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven is inviting the public to a Meet and Greet with the Hamden Democratic Mayoral Primary candidates on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thornton Wilder Hall, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, in Hamden.
All candidates who qualified for the Democratic Primary by the Hamden Registrars of Voters have been invited to participate. Each candidate will have five minutes to speak.
Following the presentations, residents will have the opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and learn more about their positions on issues important to the community.

“This event is an excellent opportunity for voters to gather the information they need to make an informed decision about who should represent them, their families, and their neighborhoods as the Democratic mayoral candidate,” according to a news release. “The winner of the primary will appear on the ballot as the Democratic candidate in the November mayoral election. The next mayor will serve a four-year term.”
Early voting for the Democratic Primary begins Sept. 2, and Primary Election Day is Sept. 9. There is no Republican primary.
