Voters Invited To Meet Hamden Legislative Council Candidates
The League of Women Voters invites the public to a meet & greet event with the Hamden Legislative Council candidates ahead of the election.
HAMDEN, CT — The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven is inviting the public to a Meet and Greet with Hamden Legislative Council candidates on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hamden’s Miller Library, Thornton Wilder Auditorium, 2901 Dixwell Avenue.
All candidates have been invited to participate. Each will have three minutes to introduce themselves and share their two top priorities.
Afterward, residents will have the chance to speak directly with the candidates, ask questions, and learn more about where they stand on issues that matter to the community.

Hamden’s Legislative Council is made up of 15 members: nine representing individual districts and six serving as At-Large council representatives.
While district representatives focus on the needs of their specific neighborhoods, At-Large members represent the entire town shaping decisions that affect every resident, every district, and Hamden’s future as a whole.

“This event gives voters the chance to understand the important role of all Legislative Council members and to gather the information they need to make informed choices about who will best represent their families, neighborhoods, and the entire community,” according to a news release.
