Women Redefining Leadership Lecture & Business Showcase To Take Place At Quinnipiac In North Haven

The panel discussion will feature women leaders, including Hamden Fire Chief Shelly Carter, who are breaking barriers in various roles.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A dynamic panel discussion featuring four distinguished women leaders who are breaking barriers in non-traditional and male-dominated industries will take place on Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, 370 Bassett Road.

The program, sponsored by the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Midstate Chamber of Commerce and the M&T Bank Center for Women and Business at Quinnipiac, will start with registration and a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. followed by the panel discussion at 1 p.m.

Tuvana Rua, director of the M&T Bank Center for Women and Business and the ConnCORP/QU Community Entrepreneurship Academy and Clinics, will moderate. Each panelist will share her personal journey, unique leadership perspective, and the challenges and triumphs of paving new paths.
