East Hartford Man Charged With Murder In Hartford Killing: Reports

Police said he was the triggerman in a fatal shooting in the city last March.

HARTFORD/EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford man has been accused of killing a man in the city last March.

According to WVIT Channel 30, the Hartford Police Department said Tuesday Adrian Serrano, 37, of East Hartford, pulled the trigger and killed Myron Meyers on March 14.

Serrano was taken into custody by the Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division on Tuesday.

According to Fox 61 and WFSB Channel 3, the shooting happened on Main Street at the city's American Legion hall.

Serrano has been officially charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal use of a firearm, according to Fox 61, and his bond is $2 million.
