Home Prices, Sales Surge In Greater Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Sale prices of single-family homes in the Greater Hartford area were up 22% in June compared to the same month the previous year, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The Greater Hartford Association of Realtors reported median sales prices in June were $335,000 compared to $275,000 in the previous year.

Home sales were also up 34%, with 817 closed sales in June 2021 compared to 608 in June 2020. Experts say the hot housing market doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
