Trinity Health: Put On Your Masks While Visiting Hospitals, Medical Centers

The medical group, which oversees hospitals in Hartford and Stafford Springs, among other facilities, issued a mask recommendation Friday.

HARTFORD, CT — The parent company of several hospitals and medical facilities in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including Hartford and Stafford Springs, is urging folks to wear masks while visiting.

The announcement, which came on Friday, Dec. 19, echoes the situation during the 2020 pandemic, when masks were actually required in many settings to combat the COVID-19 disease.

"With safety as a top priority and in light of seasonal, respiratory viral illnesses, Trinity Health Of New England strongly recommends that colleagues, patients, and visitors wear a mask in patient-facing clinical settings throughout our hospitals and ambulatory locations," wrote Trinity Health in a statement Friday.
