Bear's Place Burglary May Be Connected To Earlier Burglaries
Police are looking for possible connection among commercial burglaries this month.

The responded to an alarm at , a package store, at 6 a.m. today, according to a press release. Upon arrival officers found that "a large rock had been thrown through the window," and that "a large amount of Newport cigarettes were taken."
An in-depth inventory is being conducted and the police are investigating any connection this burglary may have to the one at on March 2 and on March 5.
This incident remains under investigation by the Ledyard Police Department Patrol and Detective Divisions. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ledyard Police Department at 860-464-6400. Callers can request an anonymous crime tip line at that same number.
