Best of Ledyard: Tell Us Where Is The Best Dessert

Yum dessert. It's better to save room for something sweet at the end of a meal and if you're smart like me, you have dessert for dinner sometimes. I have lots of favorites, too many in fact, (which is why you'll see me running or walking briskly around town whenever I have a few spare moments).

I want to know where I can find a good slice of pie, a cupcake that doesn't give me a belly ache and, in the summer, a strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream.

What's your favorite dessert and where do you go for it? There are restaurants that I go to for certain things and I would travel for something special. We want to know where in Gales Ferry and Ledyard do you go for your favorite dessert.
