Daily Five: Recycling Tip Of The Month, Lacrosse Sign-Ups, Boys And Girls Club Wants To Hear From You

1. Rain, rain, thunder, rain, says noaa.gov: "Showers likely before noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 51. East wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."

3. A facilities crew was laying down lacrosse lines on the middle school’s field Wednesday. Sign ups for the Ledyard Youth Lacrosse spring season will be through the end of March for boys and girls grades K-8. Equipment may be borrowed.  More information is on the Parks and Recreation website. 

4. Mayor Rodolico announced during the town council’s meeting that this month’s  recycling tip is that aerosol cans can now be recycled in the single-stream bins.
