Five things to know on Tuesday, March 27.

1. Yesterday’s clear, cold and windy weather continues today. NOAA.gov says today will be “sunny with a high near 47 and a north wind between 15 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 32 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 25.
2. The finance committee agreed to lease a portion of the Clark Farm property, located at 1025 Colonel Ledyard Highway, to Joseph Majcher for the purposes of farming.

3. Did you know that the town budgeted $75,000 for snow removal overtime hours in the 2011-12? The department of public works used $33,036 of that amount.

5. Mothers with infants are invited to participate at two autism studies at UCONN. The researchers will follow the development of infant siblings of children with autism over the first two years of life.
