2. The Zoning Commission is holding a public hearing tonight to hear residents' comments on the on the development and set a portion of the developement aside for affordable housig.

3. The trees are still leaf-less and it’s a good time to go out and see what varieties of winged wildlife you can see. . He will discuss and answer questions regarding their natural history, conservation, and where to see or how to attract them. That’s tonight at 7 p.m. at the Bill Library.
4. Would you be surprised to hear that librarians in the LION consortium are saying “no thanks” to gigantic book publishers like Penguin and Random House? Library Director Gale Bradbury said that those publishers, along with a few others, have increased their e-book prices by 300 percent. She said an electronic version of Catherine the Great once cost $35 and now costs $105. LION librarians have placed a moratorium on books by those publishers and are hoping to gain more support at the annual Connecticut Library Association meeting in May.
