Do You Want To Be The Next Miss Ledyard Fair?

Applications are still being accepted for the Miss Ledyard Fair pageants, according Michelle Hinton who is on the Ledyard Fair Association.

There are three different pageants based on age groups: Little Miss Ledyard (ages 5-8 years old), Jr. Miss ledyard (ages 9-13) and Miss Ledyard Fair (ages 14-18 years old).

Girls must live in either Ledyard or Gales Ferry, but they may attend a school outside of Ledyard. Contestants will be asked to choose an escort for the pageant, they will be asked to model an outfit of their choice and they will be required to answer a question on stage.

Applications are available at the Bill Library, the Ledyard Parks and Recreation office or by calling Michelle Hinton at 860-464-5008. The pageants occur during the annual Ledyard Fair, which is September 7-9.
