'Endangered Missing Juvenile' Reported In Ledyard, Police Ask For Help

A teen has been reported missing who has "severe medical issues requiring medication," police said.

LEDYARD, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a teen reported missing. Ava Fleury, 15, of Ledyard, is "a habitual runaway and has severe medical issues, requiring medication. Ava is also reported to have suicidal ideations," police said.

Ava is described as white, about 4’11” tall, and weighing approximately 110 lbs. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants, both with the Deadpool logo, and carrying a light blue and green backpack with pictures of mushrooms on it.

A Silver Alert was issued. The Connecticut Department of Children and Families and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has also been providing assistance in locating Ava’s whereabouts.
