FBI Releases Pictures of Two "Persons of Interest" In The Boston Marathon Bombing
Federal agents investigating the bombings at the Boston Marathon are appealing to the public for help in identifying two men captured on video surveillance footage shortly before the explosions.
The FBI released photographs today of two people they are seeking to locate and question regarding the Boston Marathon bombing. Both were captured on video surveillance footage walking together in Boston.
At a press conference held at 5 p.m. in Boston on Thursday, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office Richard DesLauriers said that the man in the white hat was observed putting down a bag, then walking away from it shortly before the explosions.
The FBI is appealing to members of the public to come forward if they recognize either of the men shown in these photographs. The agency is also asking people to submit any images or video, or details regarding the explosions along the Boston Marathon route and elsewhere, to submit them on https://bostonmarathontips.fbi.gov/. The FBI stresses that "No piece of information or detail is too small."
