Federal Drug Raids Being Conducted Across New London County

State police law enforcement sources have confirmed for Patch that a sweeping federal and state police operation targeting drug traffickers is under way in southeastern Connecticut, New London County in particular, with a number of local police departments participating.

Law enforcement teams are raiding locations throughout the region armed with warrants and helicopter surveillance continues.

The operation is a federal one with Connecticut State Police and local police departments assisting.
