Fire Chief Doucette Joining Homeland Security Team
Ledyard's Fire Chief John Doucette accepted a job in San Diego.

Ledyard Fire Chief Chief John Doucette is trading Connecticut winters for San Diego summers.
According to The Day, Doucette is moving to San Diego for his new job with Homeland Security. His title is marine interdiction agent and he will work with the prevention of contraband making its way over the border.
Doucette also served as a Groton police officer. Deputy Chief Jonathan Mann will serve in the role of acting chief until a May election.
