Here's A Happy Tail!

Vinnie, a Jack Russell terrier who was most recently a resident of the Ledyard Animal Control facility, was adopted last week by the Bridgeport Police Mounted Unit, according to the LAC Facebook page.

Vinnie will live at the unit, and his job will be "keeping their grounds clear of any little critters that might want to get around the horses. He'll have 24/7 supervision and have 3 acres to call home," according to a post by Cindy Eilenberger, head of Ledyard C.H.A.I.N (Citizens Helping Animals In Need).

Way to go Vinnie! And don't forget there are still pets that need homes.
