Person In Custody After Unlawful Restraint Incident At Foxwoods: Reports
A massive police response arrived at the casino Monday morning following the unlawful restraint of two people, according to reports.
MASHANTUCKET, CT — There was a heavy response from state and local police assisting at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Monday, WTNH News-8 reported.
Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation police reportedly provided a statement that that there was "an active law enforcement situation in a Fox Tower hotel room."
The area has "been contained by MPTN police and local law enforcement."

There was a large police response from tribal and state police along with authorities from nearby towns.
Two people were "unlawfully restrained" at the hotel, according to WFSB 3-TV. The situation has since been resolved.

A police spokesperson said reports of a hostage situation are incorrect.
A person involved in the incident is now in custody.
