Kids Spend An Hour In The Life Of A Penguin
Kids try on flippers, coats and masks to see things from penguins' perspective
The Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut visited the Bill Library Tuesday with materials for kids to bundle up and find out what it's like to walk a bit in penguins' shoes, which are flippers.
The Bill Library and other libraries in the area teamed up and applied for a grant that helped them buy multiple copies of "If You Were A Penguin" by Wendell and Florence Minor and they paid for the Children's Museum to put together an outreach program about penguins.
